Questions
The ones anyone with common sense would ask.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. onaswing is free, and there is no plan to charge for it while the report is the same for everybody: charging a subscription for something that is not personalised would make no sense. No card is asked for, so there is nothing to cancel. The launch places are limited, though: when they run out, whoever asks joins the waiting list.
Does onaswing tell me what to buy?
No, and that is not a figure of speech. onaswing tells you which stocks meet a technical rulebook defined in advance, the same one for everybody and the same one every session. The decision to trade, when, and with how much, is always yours.
Which rulebook does the report use?
Stage analysis: the idea that a stock moves through phases (the flat stretch that follows a fall, the start of a new advance, the top and the decline) and that the interesting one is the second. onaswing looks for stocks that once fell hard, built a base and now show signs of starting to rise, checked on three timeframes: monthly, weekly and daily. It is a well known method, popularised by Stan Weinstein in his 1988 book and still used as it was written; nobody here invented it. Today it is the only method onaswing applies; later on it will be possible to choose between methods inspired by other experts. Every report carries a guide at the bottom explaining each symbol.
Which days does it arrive, and at what time?
Tuesday to Saturday, one for each US market session: Tuesday's carries Monday's data, and so on. On US market holidays there is no session, so there is no report the next day either. The calculation starts with the market already closed and the report goes out as soon as it finishes, always before the next session opens. onaswing does not promise an exact time: it would rather warn you that some days it arrives later than fake a punctuality it does not control.
What if one day it does not arrive?
It can happen: market data is downloaded from outside (prices are provided by FirstRate Data) and sometimes it does not arrive, or arrives broken. When that happens no doubtful list goes out and nobody is left in the dark: you get a short email saying there is no report today and why. It is sent once per incident, not every day, so your inbox is not filled while it is fixed.
Which language does the report arrive in?
The language this site was in when you signed up, Spanish or English. It can be changed whenever you want from your account and the change applies to the next report.
Why is there no password?
Because it is not needed and this way is safer. To log in, onaswing sends a single use link that expires in fifteen minutes; the one that confirms your signup lasts twenty four hours. Nobody has a password to remember and none is stored here that could be stolen.
Will the rulebook be tunable?
Not from the site yet: it is on the tool's roadmap. Today everyone gets the same report, with the same rulebook. Anyone signed up will hear about it as soon as it arrives.
How do you cancel?
Whenever you want, from your account, with a single confirmation and no questions. The report stops going out at that very moment and the data is deleted after 30 days; until then it can be downloaded. If you want to come back later and the free places are full, you will join through the waiting list.
What data is kept?
Just what it takes to send the report: your email, your language, your dates and any suggestions you write. onaswing does not ask for your name, sets no third party trackers and shares your email with nobody beyond the companies it takes to deliver it, and with no advertiser. Today the report carries no advertising. Your record and your suggestions can be downloaded from your account whenever you like. The full detail, with who holds it and where, is in the privacy note.
Who is behind onaswing?
A team of professionals with more than twenty five years of experience in engineering and innovation companies. Among them there is someone who has led large engineering projects and someone who has spent years specializing in how people and machines work together. The tool was born for their own use and convinced them enough to open it to more people. Honesty comes first: onaswing will keep you informed of everything through the tool itself.
What exactly is onaswing, and what is it not?
Better to tell the limits up front than to let them turn up along the way.
End of day data. onaswing works with each session's close, not real time. For swing trading, which moves in days and weeks, that is the right choice.
S&P 500 only. One market: five hundred large, liquid companies. It is the specialty of the house, not a shortcoming.
No mobile app, for now. The report reads perfectly on your phone and this site adapts to small screens. An app may come later on.
Simple charts. The report charts are clear and static. The interactive version will come later; first the essentials should work flawlessly.
How do you read the report?
REPORT SENT ON 2026-09-23, WITH DATA OF 2026-09-22 · FIXED SAMPLE, NO LONGER CURRENT
This is the report that went out on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, with the data of the close on Tuesday the 22nd. It stays frozen forever as a sample: what you see is real information from that day, not a mock-up.
Open the report in a new tab Opens in a new tab.
At the bottom of every report there is the guide «How to read this report», with every symbol explained.
This sample is in Spanish because Spanish is how it went out that day. Every report arrives in the language you choose.
Here is one row of the sample, the one for DXCM, third on the Health Care card, opened up piece by piece:
The rulebook: three looks at the same stock
Monthly: the long look. It hunts for candidates: stocks that fell hard in the past, that have already stopped falling and where buyers can be seen coming back.
Weekly: the middle look. It checks whether the recovery is serious, week by week, and whether the stock stands out against the market as a whole.
Daily: today's snapshot. It checks whether the stock is still in good shape and whether the price has not run up too fast to climb aboard now.
Each look lights an indicator. Green: that look gives its approval. Grey: not yet.
Only two groups make it into the report: Full signal (all three indicators green) and Getting ready (the first two green; today's snapshot, not yet).
Growth: the business, quarter by quarter
Two rows of three squares. Each square is one quarter compared with the same quarter a year earlier, read from left to right, from the oldest to the most recent: that shows which way the business is heading. It only informs; it never decides who makes the list.
Green grows strongly · yellow grows · red weak or falling · grey no data or not comparable
Not comparable: when the figure for the same quarter a year earlier was negative or zero (a loss-making quarter, for instance), a percentage would mean nothing and the square goes grey.
In DXCM, earnings per share grow strongly in all three quarters, and sales grow in all three without reaching green.
Debut: the first day with all three signals
On the day a stock has all three signals and did not have them in the previous report, or was not on the list, its three indicators and its ticker come out golden, and it moves to the top of its card. The next day it goes back to green. The comparison is with the last report sent to each account, so the first report of a new account marks no debut.
Mock-up: the real DXCM row with the gold painted on and without the counter, which does not show on the day of the debut, to show what a debut looks like. There was none on 2026-09-22; the real golden indicators are in the guide at the foot of the sample.
Days in green: how long it has had all three
Next to the stock comes +1, +2…: the consecutive market sessions it has had all three signals, not counting the first. From eleven on it shows «>10». The count comes from market data, not from the reports received: the first report of a new account carries the N on every stock and no counter, and from the second one a stock can already show its count without ever having gone through the gold.
+2 In DXCM, «+2»: it has had three consecutive sessions with all three signals, and the first one is not counted.
The orange N pill marks the stocks that were not on the previous list, and it takes the same slot: a new stock carries the N, not the counter. If it comes in already with all three signals, it carries the N and the gold at once. No new stock came in on 2026-09-22.
