Privacy, in plain words

Version textos-2026-10-02, dated October 2, 2026.

This note tells you what onaswing does with your data, whether you sign up to receive the report or just leave your email on the waiting list. No small print: if something is unclear, write to us and we will rewrite it.

Who answers for your data

The data controller is Esteban Gallardo, of the onaswing team. For anything about your data write to hello@onaswing.com and we answer you ourselves, with no forms and no runaround.

What is kept about you

If you are on the WAITING LIST and nothing else, two things are kept about you: your email and your language, so you can be told when it opens, in order of arrival. None of that travels anywhere: it stays in the onaswing database. When you get in, your email becomes that of a signed up user and the rest of this note applies; if you never get in, it is deleted when the launch closes, and sooner if you ask. To leave the list, just write to us: the whole row is deleted, and the team's internal log only records that someone asked to leave, without your address.

And if you are signed up, just what the service takes: your email address, the language you want to read the report in, the dates of your signup and your cancellation, any suggestions you write and which version of these texts you accepted. onaswing does not ask for your name, your country or payment details: there is nothing to pay. The «Download my data» button in your account gives you your record and your suggestions in a file, right away; if you also want to know whether you appear in the internal log of what the team touches, write to us and we will tell you.

While you request a signup or a login link your IP address is noted, only to slow down anyone trying to abuse the form. The note stops counting after an hour and is deleted by the next cleanup, which runs with every report.

Cookies: only the ones logging in takes, and all of them onaswing's own. The one that keeps you inside your account (with its session recorded in the database until you log out or it expires) and two that go with it at login time, one to check the form was really sent by you and one to know which page to send you back to. They are technical, the service does not work without them, and that is why no permission is asked. There are no third party cookies, no analytics and no trackers.

What it is used for

To send you the daily report in your language, to handle your cancellation and to answer you if you write. Nothing else.

The legal basis is your consent, which you gave when you pressed the confirmation link, and the provision of the service you asked for. You can withdraw it whenever you want by cancelling.

The rulebook is the same for everybody: it is not tuned to anyone, no profiles are built, and no automated decisions are taken about you. Only two marks come from your history, and both come from comparing today's list with the last one sent to you: which stocks are new to you, and which ones debut with all three signals today. Nothing else.

Who else sees it

Inside, only the onaswing team. Outside, only the companies it takes to deliver the email, and each one sees the minimum:

  • The email delivery provider (Resend) receives your address so it can deliver the message. It is a US company and its delivery logs live there, under the European data transfer safeguards.
  • The private repository the list of who to write to comes from is hosted on GitHub, also a US company. Your email, your language and whether you are active live there, in a file only onaswing and the process that prepares the report can reach.
  • The site and the database are hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt).
  • If you write to the contact address, your message is kept in the team mailbox, on Microsoft 365, with the data hosted in the European Union. Only the onaswing team reads it.

onaswing does not sell or share your email with anyone else, and with no advertiser. Today the report carries no advertising; if it ever did, onaswing would insert the ads when sending the email, without handing your address to anyone.

How long it is kept

As long as you are signed up. When you cancel, sending stops that same day and your data is deleted after 30 days; during that period you can download it from your account.

Deleting means deleting: your row disappears from the database, your file in the repository is removed and its history is rewritten so your email is not left in the old versions. One honest caveat: that rewrite leaves loose copies that GitHub clears with its own collector, and that last step is not up to onaswing, so it cannot be promised that they vanish at the very same instant.

Your suggestions stay, but with no author: they stop being linked to you.

And there are three places where your email takes a little longer to be gone for good, so it is better said out loud: the database backups, which the provider keeps for a few days; a full copy the team keeps outside that provider, of which only the most recent are kept; and the email provider's delivery logs, which follow its own policy. All of them expire on their own; none is looked at except to bring the service back from a failure.

Your rights

  • Know what is kept about you and take it with you: the «Download my data» button in your account gives you, right away, a file with your record and your suggestions. For anything else (whether you appear in the internal log of what the team touches), write to us and we will tell you.
  • Correct it: you change the language yourself from your account; for anything else, write to us.
  • Delete it and withdraw your consent: cancel from your account, no explanations needed.
  • Object to the processing or ask for it to be restricted: write to us and it is sorted out.

If you think this was not done right, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the authority in your country.

If this note changes

It carries its version and its date at the top. If something that really affects you changes, onaswing tells you by email before applying it, not hidden away on a page.
